Currently, there are a several TV sets and models in this new technology. What makes it confusing is the emergence or a number of projectors with the same confusing names and terminologies.

Understanding HDTV projectors

The world and jargons surrounding HDTV projectors is somewhat complicated and confusing.

For simplicities sake, the real definition of an HDTV projector is: a TV screen projector that practically and effectively integrate the superior screen and imaging technology of the HDTV screen.

HDTV projectors project images that are at par with the superior quality of the HDTV. HDTV is basically image projection and transmission.

The sound quality is not covered, but there are a number of HDTV projector products claiming to have the superior sound quality only available on HDTVs.

Some products, in order to convince consumers to buy them emphasizes that they're ‘real HDTV projectors.’

In order to set this confusing record straight, HDTV projectors don't come with ‘real’ or ‘unreal’ qualities. They're all the same. The resolution problem or discrepancies only come from the difference in resolution in HDTV projectors.

That is similar to digital cameras. Resolutions and clarity of pictures differ because of the magnification or resolution capacity of the cameras’ lenses.

Thus, in the case of HDTV projectors, those with higher indicative resolutions will project clearer images than those HDTV projectors with lower resolutions.

Nothing can be clearer than that explanation.

High definition television or HDTV is the fast rising and more popular TV technology today.

On average, marketers and salesmen estimate that the price of an HDTV is about 15 to 25 times higher than the price for conventional TV sets.

The most breath-taking feature of the HDTV is its superior screen quality. The screen of HDTV is far better than the screen quality of a conventional analog TV.

Thus, HDTV projectors also adapt and project the clear resolution and image quality input by the awesome HDTV. In fact, nothing can compare to it.
