A consumer can connect a DVD, VHS, cable box and even a video game console to his high definition TV set, all of which will require careful planning to get the connection right. 

Consumers usually require S-video connection jacks aside from the composite or even component video analog jacks. Using these connection jacks, the consumer can readily buy a high definition TV set without fear of having any problems with the connections. The simpler the high definition TV connections are, the better and more convenient it will be in the long run.
