Cheasley's
Numerology At A Glance by Clifford W. Cheasley PHILOSOPHER

Number 5
IDEALITY 5 - Motive *
You have a lively
imagination and an inward spirit of youth-fullness strong
enough to survive even the hardest of experiences. You are
very sensitive to surroundings and to any in harmony in your
associations. You are jealous of your individuality and having
a passion for freedom are inclined to draw away at the least
suggestion of someone trying to own you, control your ideas or
limit your independence.
You are not fond of
expressing definite opinions especially in directions where
you might be held to them later. You have an open mind and are
not happy to feel that you have reached the end of a subject,
for the end of anything is never attractive to you. You are
intrigued by all things that are new and interesting and by
what you do not possess, but the end of a quest is the time
for you to turn your attention quickly elsewhere.
You should not be relied
upon for the more serious angles of thought, the more
responsible, constant phases of friendship, for these are not
your purpose and you are not too sure of yourself being able
to think the same tomorrow as you do today. You can be relied
upon for pleasant, refreshing companionship that does not ask
or accept any obligation and whatever your age, your mind will
always retain a large measure of the child's enthusiasm when
faced with unexpected prospects.
IMPRESSION 5 - Appearance *
In your general
appearance you are inclined to be youthful and in your dress
will lean toward the finer, more delicate materials, to frills
and laces if a woman, or to tweeds, rougher sports clothes if
a man. It is easy to unconsciously have your appearance a
little more flashy than in good taste for you are not always
careful to see that colors and articles harmonize.
EXPRESSION 5 - Methods *
Your general temperament
and moods, as well as your methods are subject to rapid
change. Your intention and purpose may remain the same but
your ways of expressing and developing them cannot be relied
upon from one day to another.
You have a latent
brilliance but this shows only under adverse circumstances or
the pressure of time. You act best in an emergency for this
brings out resourcefulness and ingenuity which is of a
character that is too powerful to be expected to last over a
long period. Beware of lack of concentration and
procrastination for these develop an unreliable and somewhat
lazy note in your daily reactions.
It is difficult for you
not to add a clownish note in the way you express yourself
even when you are dealing in serious subjects. You should
avoid careless ways of speaking and acting that may lead
others to think you slangy and a trifle crude. You are not at
your best in a routine job, but shine where you have to find
different methods and different words to express an old idea,
which makes you more capable of taking the ideas of others and
re-discovering them, than in creating new ones. You do not
like work, but when started are equally disinclined to stop.
PATH OF LIFE 5 - Life lesson - Opportunity
The foremost attitude of
mind that you must develop to make your life happier and more
successful is adaptability. There is a decided thread of the
unexpected running through the whole of your life, but if you
can see this and relax into it instead of trying against odds
to have everything mapped out and to know just exactly what to
expect, you will find that the unexpected will prove to be
productive of better results than the efforts you attempt so
earnestly.
You will learn that
disappointment is only in ratio to expectation, and so try to
avoid too much expectation. Live more one day at a time. There
is experience for you from every possible angle of human life,
but do not try to settle down too long at any one phase. There
is plenty of physical vitality which will help you to survive
some severe tests to your physical endurance.
This is the Path where
fortunes can be easily made, lost and made again. There is
often an instability of action and circumstance which causes
other people of more settled and conventional experience to
call its Native a "gypsy" or a "bum". Here the individual is
more often the victim of circumstances.
PERSONAL YEAR VIBRATION 5.
This year is one of
change. Through change, which may appear rather chaotic and
pointless at the time, things are made over, and so the only
mistake that you might make this year is to expect some
definite result, or to refuse to adapt yourself to the
conditions of the moment. The first would bring
disappointment, the second, in harmony and fight. If you want
to take chances, or reach out for new experience, this is a
good time, but think twice before you surround yourself with
too many obligations.
The more important
changes of the year will commence with May and it is then
better to keep your associations and circumstances somewhat
free of definite responsibility until October.
